Obstacles and islands
Beds, pool, trampoline: wire forms loops, wire-free maps. The Amazon page describes the sensors, not us.
Anything the robot must not mow: beds, trees, pots, garden furniture, trampolines, pools, play areas. How it handles them depends on navigation technology, not brand.
Boundary wire: loops to lay
Each permanent obstacle is handled by a cable loop. The more islands, the longer the install.
Wire-free: detection and mapping
With RTK or LiDAR, obstacles are detected by sensors and stored in the map. Fixed objects can be saved as no-go zones; movable ones are avoided on detection.
